The industries I have targeted for my website design are for App UX Design and product UX design. I have provided multiple case studies featuring various apps I have created. For product design, I have included a microwave user interface. The Home page’s objective is to provide the visitor with a brief explanation of what I like doing and would succeed in. The objective is also to give the visitor a glimpse of the work I’ve done throughout my years. I have chosen to present the page content in the manner I have because I feel it is important for the lack of content and brief introduction to only have a glimpse at what I do. By providing my most successful apps, I am giving the visitor a quick introduction and letting them see the work I have done. I think the viewer will understand my skills are in app design as they quickly scroll down my home page. The viewer will see my abilities and strengths in the brief glimpse of the work I provide at the bottom of the Home page. The viewer will be able to understand my passions because I listed them in the two-sentence introduction. The viewer will understand I am passionate about app and product design.
The aims and objectives of the Portfolio page are to provide the viewer with videos and introduction photos of the work I have completed over the years. I wanted the Portfolio page to have all my work on it so the viewer will be able to scroll through every one of my projects. When the viewer hovers over the Portfolio menu, they will be able to see all my project case studies in more depth. I have chosen to present the Portfolio page content in the manner I have because I think it’s important for the viewer to see a glimpse of each piece I’ve provided. If the viewer wants to look at the project in more depth, they will be able to hover over the Portfolio page or click the project images on the page. I think the viewer will understand about my skills, abilities, and strengths as a designer that I am organized and creative based on the layout of my Portfolio page. The viewer will be able to see that my projects have information that is organized and well researched. The viewer will be able to understand my passions as a designer are designing apps and creating product designs.
When the viewer hovers over the Portfolio menu, they will see several projects listed under the menu. Each case study follows the same pattern and are al relatively the same aside from the content. The aims and objectives of the project pages are to give the viewer the full researched project, including personas, case studies, and journey maps. I wanted each page to look the same so the viewer will get used to how the page is laid out and be able to find all of the information easily. I have chosen to present the project pages in the manner I have because I believe the information is easily laid out for the viewer. While there is a lot of reading, I think the pages flow well with the content and images that are posted. I think what the viewer will be able to understand about my skills, abilities, and strengths is that I am organized and motivated. I keep up with my projects and always make sure I finish and refine them. I think the viewer will be able to see my passions are in app design as my most successful pieces are apps.
The aims and objectives of the About page are to give the viewer information that is about me. The top of the page provides the viewer with an explanation of who I am, my design philosophy, and personal mission statement. The information is important because it will give the viewer an insight as to who I am and what I hope to accomplish. When the viewer scrolls down the page, they will see my skills, accomplishments, portfolio pieces, and personal information. I thought it was important to provide information on my tech and design skills, attributes, and personal skills so the viewer will have an idea as to what I can do for their company. Accomplishments was another idea I found to be important because I want the viewer to know about the accomplishments I have done in my life. I provide three portfolio pieces near the bottom of the page because I think it’s important that the viewer understand how passionate I am at those projects. Finally, I provided the viewer with my personal information, so they can contact me and download my resume. I have chosen to present the page content in the manner I have of listing all my accomplishments and skills because I think it’s important for the viewer to see what I have done and what I can do for them. I wanted an easy scrolling layout, so the viewer isn’t stuck reading too much information in a small place. I think what the viewer will be able to understand about my skills, abilities, and strengths is that I’m motivated and honest with how I perceive things such as through my work. I think the viewer will be able to understand my passions as I list them all on the About page. I provide the viewer with the same portfolio pieces from the Home page because I want the viewer to see how passionate I am about those pieces.
The aims and objectives of the Contact page are for the viewer to contact me. I provide my phone number, personal and school email, LinkedIn profile, and resume. I have chosen to present the page content in the manner I have because I want the viewer to be able to easily see all of the ways to contact me. I list everything side by side but in a way that is readable to the viewer. I think what the viewer will be able to understand about my skills, abilities, and strengths is in organization and readability. The viewer will see my passions are aligned with my skills.
